
After the Brexit key-note speech by British Prime Minister Theresa May, the head of the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Martin Wansleben, calls for greater clarity on future economic relations. "The companies need planning security and no extension of the already adjourned game, because they must now know what they have to deal with," said Wansleben to the German Press Agency. Britain will leave the EU at the end of March 2019. In her speech in Florence, May had suggested a transitional period of two years.
